Adam Ferrell is an experienced attorney known for delivering strategic, results-driven representation across a diverse range of legal matters. With a strong foundation in both litigation and client advocacy, he has successfully handled cases involving personal injury, automobile accidents, wrongful death, and medical malpractice, helping clients navigate complex and often challenging circumstances with confidence. He also represents individuals and families in sensitive family law matters, business and corporate matters, and probate and estate matters, approaching each case with professionalism, discretion, and a deep understanding of the practical and legal issues involved.
Adam remains dedicated to providing responsive, client-focused legal services tailored to each client’s unique needs, ensuring clear communication, practical guidance, and strong advocacy at every stage.
Achievements and Recognition
Adam graduated with honors from Mercer University (2001) and from the Mercer Walter F. George School of Law (2004). While in law school, he was a member of the Mercer Law Review and editor of the 11th Circuit Survey edition. Adam recognizes that achieving the best outcomes for clients requires a combination of legal skill, knowledge, hard work, integrity, and dedication. By adhering to this philosophy, Mr. Ferrell has achieved many successful outcomes for the numerous clients he has represented over the years. Recognized for his excellence, he was named a Georgia Super Lawyers “Rising Star” in 2012 and 2013. Within the professional legal community, he was previously elected to serve as president of the Waycross Bar Association and elected in 2025 to serve on the Georgia State Bar Board of Governors.
Community Involvement
Adam resides in Pierce County, GA, with his wife and two children. He is actively involved in his community, previously serving on the board of directors for the James M. Dye Foundation (formerly the Waycross College Foundation), the Waycross-Ware County Chamber of Commerce, the Satilla Health Foundation, and Better Hometown Blackshear. He has been an active member of the Waycross Bar Association (a local organization of attorneys and judges), previously serving as secretary and president. He currently serves on the Georgia Bar Board of Governors, the board of the Pierce Co. Foundation for Excellence in Education, and as a member of the school council for Pierce Co. Middle School. Adam is an active member at First Baptist Church of Blackshear and teaches a weekly middle school boy’s Sunday school class.
Educational Contributions
Adam had the fortunate opportunity to become involved in the local school system by coaching a high school “mock trial” team for several years, teaching students how to effectively conduct examinations of witnesses and present opening and closing statements. The Georgia High School mock trial program is sponsored by the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia. He also enjoys opportunities to speak to local elementary school students each year when they study about our government and the legal system.
Personal Interests
The practice of law is a stressful endeavor, and to maintain a healthy work-life balance, Adam enjoys spending time out of the office traveling with family and enjoying the outdoors. Adam is an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoys bow hunting and fishing.
